Micromalting Machine
The micromalting machine is a laboratory equipment used for micro malting tests. The machine is designed to study properties and verify performance of different barley under various process conditions. Through the small-scale micromalting tests this is possible to adjust an optimum technology for the large-scale malting production.
Apparatus for determination of optimum barley variety for malting-VTO
The apparatus is designed to determine the choice of a brewing barley variety at its optimum maturity for malting. The apparatus brings real cost savings and, at the same time, improves the quality of the finished malt. The VTO optimizer makes possible simultaneous comparison from as many as six different samples of brewing barley. The intensity of germination is determined on the basis of the total amount of consumed oxygen by the sample during the test, which lasts approximately 20 h.
Mineralizer
Mineralizer MB 332 and MB 442 are designed for mineralizing of samples in the wet way in tubes with 41 mm outside diameter and the temperature of 400-440° C (for example determination of protein acc. to Kjeldahl's method, determination of fiber, etc.). Mineralizers are constructed for simultaneous mineralization of up to 9 (MB 332) or 16 (MB 442) samples. Both models consist of heating block and separate control unit. The heating block is to be placed in a chamber with exhaust of fumes or it could be supplied with a fume exhaust. The control unit can be located anywhere on the place comfortable for operation no farther than 6 m from the heating block.
